Gabriel Fauré wrote the Requiem, one of his most beautiful pieces, from 1887-1890. It will be performed by the Choir of Langholtskirkja, conducted by Magnús Ragnarsson, on the 16th of April at 5 pm in Hallgrímskirkja in Reykjavík.
